Open Gardens
Little Baddow Open Gardens is a major annual event which has been taking place in the village for more than 30 years, usually raising money for the repair and maintenance of St Mary's, our beautiful 11th century village church. A good range of gardens are open each year, ranging from large, sweeping landscapes with fantastic views to small cottage gardens packed with plants.
As well as all the lovely gardens on display, there are many other attractions including trips on the canal, Morris dancers, vintage cars, the historic church and chapel to visit and an exhibition at the History Centre. Delicious refreshments, including home-made ploughman's lunches at the Memorial Hall and teas and cakes or Pimm's and Prosecco in some of the gardens, keep visitors sustained while they explore the village.
Open Gardens will take place on Saturday 17th May 2025.
